Exploring Saginaw, MI: A Cozy Week of Fall Colors and Coffee Breaks

This past week in Saginaw, Michigan, was a blend of beautiful scenery and much-needed downtime after a busy rehearsal schedule. While it was a hectic week, we took time to recharge and enjoy the incredible fall colours, which were nothing short of breathtaking. The trees were ablaze with reds, oranges, and yellows, creating the perfect backdrop for a few runs outside that helped us soak in the crisp autumn air.

One of the highlights of our stay was visiting Red Eye Coffee, a local favourite that made the hometown feel even cozier. Their Dalgona Latte was unlike anything I’d had before—frothy, sweet, and delicious after our outdoor runs. It was the perfect way to settle in, especially after a morning of enjoying the vibrant fall scenery.

We also made sure to stop by the painted rainbow silos, a striking and creative landmark that brightens up the town. The vibrant colours on the silos seemed to mirror the hues of the fall foliage around us, adding an extra layer of charm to Saginaw. It’s a great spot to appreciate local art and nature, and we couldn’t resist taking a few photos to remember the moment.

Even though we didn’t pack our schedule with activities, this recovery week allowed us to slow down and appreciate the small things. Saginaw was a perfect place to unwind between our leisurely coffee shop visits, a few refreshing outdoor runs, and soaking in the fall atmosphere. Sometimes, it’s nice to take a step back and let the world move slowly for a while.

As we head to our next city, we’re leaving Saginaw with full hearts and memories of its stunning autumn colours and welcoming community. Until next time!
